Safety Guidance
Last updated: May 14, 2026
F8TD Travel is designed to help people discover travel connections, but no app can guarantee safety. Use judgment, move slowly, and put your wellbeing first.
Before meeting
- Keep early conversations in the app when possible.
- Do not share sensitive personal or financial information.
- Watch for pressure, inconsistent stories, or rushed plans.
- Tell someone you trust where you are going and who you are meeting.
Meeting and travel
- Meet in public places first.
- Control your own transportation and lodging.
- Keep important documents, money, and devices secure.
- Leave any situation that feels unsafe or uncomfortable.
Money and scams
Never send money, gift cards, crypto, travel deposits, or financial account details to someone you met through F8TD. Report requests for money or suspicious travel arrangements.
Blocking and reporting
Use block and report tools for harassment, scams, impersonation, underage users, threatening behavior, or anything that makes you feel unsafe. Reports help us review patterns and take action.
Verification limits
F8TD does not guarantee user identity, background checks, travel intent, or personal safety. Any verification or trust wording in the product is limited and should not replace your own judgment.
Emergencies
F8TD is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency services first.
